Why Frank the Pug exemplies Innovation Webs in Action - "Multum in Parvo"

Dear all, the more time I spend exploring the state of art of accelerating innovation in high value manufacturing with innovation webs (https://open-european-innovation-network.blogspot.com/2020/01/the-narrative-for-generic-diffusion-of.html) for the literature research section for our CIRPe 2020 article (https://open-european-innovation-network.blogspot.com/2020/04/online-cirpe-2020-8th-cirp-global-web.html) and continuing to work on Version 2 of our Litmus Test Version 2 (https://open-european-innovation-network.blogspot.com/2020/03/litmus-test-version-2-work-in-progress.html), the more obvious it becomes that the "recipe" for successfull diffusion of innovation from ideation to market saturation is actually a quite simple one and requires a lot less energy than we might think.

For the impatient reader simply put - hire Frank to drive innovation forward!

Yesterday (in a different context) I stumbled across the article "Self-isolate like a king: why Henry VIII is a role model for staying in" (https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2020/apr/17/self-isolate-like-king-why-henry-viii-role-model-for-staying-in#maincontent) and the concept of there is "much in little" ("multum in parvo") which resonates stronlgy. The concept is often illustrated with pug dogs (indeed a lot of dog for its size) and the image is of Frank the pug dog from the Men in Black movie series (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_the_Pug- gotta love him! Innovation acceleration indeed requires only a few ingredients (just like baking a cake https://kidsongs.com/lyrics/pat-a-cake.html/) - the "art" lies in mastering the creative process (and of course the process itself).

"Multum in Parvo" combined with making haste slowly ("Festina Lente" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Festina_lente) probably combined with the concept of "ba" (http://home.business.utah.edu/actme/7410/Nonaka%201998.pdf) lead to a magical emergence of innovation diffusion in a "heart beat" - case study after case study showing that this happens (within the innovation web archetypes https://innovation-web.eu/innovation-webs).

A little dispiriting however is that most (if not all) conscious attempts to "re-create" the conditions for this emergence continue to fail miserably. Exactly this is where we are working together though - exploring what is truly takes to recreate the conditions for rapid acceleration of diffusion of innovations from ideation to market saturation.
