The stage “play in a day” tells the story of how an innovation travels from ideation to market saturation and will be performed by a group of novice actors who convened at 10 a.m. in the morning of Tuesday May 5th, 2020 to create a “play in a day”. The full description and text are available here https://innovation-web.eu/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/ENTOV-HVM-The-Innovation-Journey-Version-1-20200223.pdf
The performance is self-directed by the actors as a “play in a day” innovative approach for experiencing the “journey of innovation” with all of our senses. During the day actors will be actively supported by experienced facilitators and will be free to design the stage play as they see fitting, including language, visuals, audio, requisites and engagement of the audience. Delivered in the spirit of Shakespeare this interactive event will inspire, enthuse and energize both young and experienced innovators on their path to changing the world. The evolution and delivery of the stage play will remain continuously open to new ideas and participants until the end of the performance, continuously adapt based on learnings and create a performer “tribe” delivering on an impossible challenge – from idea to performance in a few hours… The “core” team of actors comes from the Contamination Labs team at the University of Padova – more information about this effort is available here https://www.unipd.it/clabveneto.
All readers are invited to not only join the audience in the evening, but also to participate as actors in the stage play by joining the group in the morning and engaging in an exciting day. There are no pre-requisites other than a minimum age of 18 for insurance purposes. The actors can be visited / observed / joined at 10 am in the Sala Rossini where an initial introduction and orientation session will be held before moving to a practice room opposite the Caffè Pedrocchi (details to follow) and then returning to the Sala Rossini starting 4 pm for final preparations and dress rehearsals.
