!Save the Date! FIRST Network Event Wednesday January 22nd and Thursday January 23rd 2020 in Zweibrücken, Germany.
Dear All - please save the date and join us for the first ENTOV-HVM Network Roundtable Meeting on Wednesday January 22nd and the first ENTOV-HVM Training Workshop on Thursday January 23rd in Zweibrücken, Germany.
The event will be hosted jointly by the Competency Center "OPINNOMETH" (Operational Excellence and Innovation Methods) at the University of Applied Sciences in Kaiserslautern (see https://www.hs-kl.de/en/betriebswirtschaft/aus-der-bw/kompetenzzentrum-opinnometh/) and the ed-Media e.V. Institute for Innovation in Education and Business Processes (see https://ed-media.org/de).
This is a preliminary announcement and details will follow in the next few weeks.
On the first day everyone who participated in the COST 2019 proposal, is currently interested in participating in the ERASMUS+ Knowledge Alliance and / or ERASMUS MUNDUS Joint Master Degree proposals is invited to get to know each other, share notes etc. Any and all new members of the tribe who will join us by then are of course also cordially invited. A detailed agenda will still be worked on, however this is primarily a session for finalising the ERASMUS+ Knowledge Alliance proposal we will be working on in the next months for submission end of February 2020, agreeing on the way forward and putting the final touches to the training workshop.
On the evening of the first day there will be a dinner event.
The second day will be dedicated to a first "pilot" delivery of a training workshop covering the ENTOV-HVM and partner approaches, case study discussions and possibly a condensed version of the "play in a day" taking participants through the innovation journey. This essentially fleshes out the training elements of the COST proposal, sets the stage for creating a Master level certificate training offer (to be joint-offered by network universities) and then to evolve into a fully fledged Master level programme which can be proposed for ERASMUS MUNDUS funding. Everyone is invited including anyone we know who might be interested. The maximum number of participants due to venue limitations is approximately 20.
On both days there will be ample time for discussions and networking plus we are looking to greet new members of the tribe from all types of institutions.
Funding for this first event (travel, lodging, per diems, time, venues) still needs to be clarified and at the moment we ask you to consider this as a self-funded trip with a small contribution to venue costs. Travel and lodging recommendations will follow in the next months.
The image shows the venue for the second day at the University of Applied Science Kaiserslautern (see https://www.hs-kl.de/) - the campus is on the grounds of a previous U.S. military base and the meeting rooms are in a converted chapel with ample room for a great training experience.
Look out for further announcements as planning progresses and let us know if you have any questions. Places will fill up quickly so please let us know as soon as possible if you are planning to attend.
